This Media Release describes how WGE Sports, a division of WarriorsGate Entertainment, Inc. ("WGE"), uses photography, video, and other media captured at or in connection with the WGE Basketball Classic, including footage broadcast on WGEPlus.tv.
By attending, participating in, or otherwise engaging with the WGE Basketball Classic as a player, coach, staff member, owner, vendor, or spectator, you acknowledge and agree that:
By participating in the WGE Basketball Classic, you grant WGE Sports and WarriorsGate Entertainment, Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual right to use, reproduce, distribute, broadcast, and display your name, image, likeness, and voice as captured during the event, in any media now known or later developed, without additional compensation.
As outlined in the official Franchise Agreement, registered owners, general managers, coaches, and players may be asked to participate in media activities including interviews, broadcast features, and promotional content in connection with the Classic.
This release does not grant rights to use participant likeness in a manner that is defamatory or that falsely implies endorsement of a third-party product without separate written agreement.
